The  kindergarten is carefully designed to enhance its urban landscape through strategic location, harmonious design, sustainable practices, and community-oriented spaces. The layout promotes free movement and interaction among children with functionally connected spaces, fostering openness and fluidity. The main atrium links interior and exterior areas, ensuring safety and cohesion between infants, teachers, and the environment. Interior areas adapt to various activities and needs, evolving with the children’s development. Outdoor play areas are integrated with the indoor spaces, offering safe, stimulating environments for exploration and physical activity. Key design elements include the welcoming entrance, intuitive circulation, and multifunctional activity rooms.

Sustainability & Materiality

The building utilizes sustainable, non-toxic materials to create a safe and eco-friendly environment. It also incorporates energy-efficient features like natural ventilation, energy-efficient lighting, and effective insulation to minimize its environmental impact. Large windows and natural materials create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, enhancing the children’s bond with nature.

Technical Details

The building’s scale is designed to fit well within the urban context, with child-friendly proportions that respect the surrounding landscape. The design prioritizes child safety with secure play areas and controlled access, and ensures accessibility for all, including children with disabilities. The activity rooms, designed for diverse educational and recreational use, feature child-friendly materials, ample natural light, and ventilation for a healthy environment.
