Α contemporary café-kiosk integrated into Capodistria’s museum garden, creating a vibrant gathering spot.

The café-kiosk’s design integrates seamlessly with the historic Museum complex and garden, featuring a semi-permanent, mobile structure that adapts to the Museum’s needs. Its movable panels enable 360-degree interaction with the surroundings when open while closing completely when not in use.. The kiosk offers a functional café while serving as an architectural highlight, blending historical heritage with contemporary design.
The kiosk’s circular shape creates an open and inviting atmosphere. Its main materials, metal and wood, balance durability with warmth. The movable green exterior panels are made of metal for strength and resistance, while the supporting metal poles give the structure a minimalist look. The wooden elements provide a natural, warm contrast to the metal, with the wooden deck flooring complementing the design and blending seamlessly into the garden environment.
The semi-circular counter allows for efficient service and interaction with customers from all sides. It features an integrated sink, space for coffee machines, refrigerators, and other essential café equipment. Additionally, storage cabinets are built into the counter for utensils, cups, and supplies.
