Symphony

This residence in Chalkidiki is conceived as a compact, monolithic volume defined by rough material expression and precise geometry. A concrete frame encloses stacked planes of local stone, forming a solid yet permeable structure carved by deep openings and recessed terraces. The composition is deliberately reductive: two levels organized within a clear structural grid, where solid and empty spaces shape light and shadow. Large glazed surfaces cut through the stone envelope, extending the living areas toward the pool and Mediterranean landscape. The material palette — exposed concrete, textured stone and warm timber — remains raw and restrained, emphasizing tactility, weight and the quiet strength of form.

The interior is organized with clarity and restraint. The ground floor unfolds as a continuous living space, where kitchen, dining and lounge are aligned toward the landscape, maintaining visual depth and spatial continuity. Private rooms on the upper level open to shaded terraces, offering controlled light and framed views. The style is minimal and grounded, avoiding excess in favor of proportion and atmosphere. Materials remain consistent throughout: exposed concrete ceilings, natural stone surfaces, large glass openings and warm timber elements. Soft, neutral finishes balance the rough textures, creating spaces that feel calm, tactile and closely connected to their setting.
